Answers to Research Questions Pt. 2 (Rina and Kaho)

Q6: When did the act of reselling start?

A6: Actually, there were no clear dates of when did the act of reselling started. However, it can be seen that the act of reselling was developed by the act of trading and commerce.

Q10: Why are resellers active for a long time?

A10: There are many reasons why resale has been active. The biggest reason might be because it's the easiest way to earn money.

Q19: Is reselling connected with swindling?

A19: Yes, reselling could be a swindling against the original seller.

Q25: How sustainable is reselling as a long-term business model?

A25: It could be a start of a business chance since it is easy to do for everyone from rich to poor. However, if the number of resellers is high, it might be difficult to run a long-term business because the competition ratio is high.

Q30: What do resellers do with leftovers?

A30: Many of the resellers lower down the price when the product or the ticket is not being sold well. In other situations, resellers keep unsold items for a long term to see an increase in scarcity value. However, there are some rare case. Recently in Japan, there were events of McDonalds collaborating with Chiikawa (a Japanese character, which is shortened for something small and cute). To explain it more, when people buy the Happy Meal, they can get one Chiikawa toy. When the collaboration started, people started to order many Happy meal in order to obtain the Chiikawa toy to resell with the higher price. In addition, there were rules of only buying 4 Happy meals per person, but the system did not operate it well. Since the toy comes with the Happy Meal, some of the resellers had to leave the Happy Meal to the store and the employee had to throw all of the food to the garbage and led to a huge food loss.

Cite the sources in APA style using https://www.scribbr.com/citation/generator/ . You should also evaluate the quality of the information you learned and tell us why you think you can trust it. These are some of the kinds of questions that can help you know if the information can be considered trustworthy:

What makes the author(s) an authority on this subject?
Does the author cite his/her experience/credentials?
Is there any way to contact the author?

Are the content and level appropriate for that audience?
